They included a paranoid flute player, an obsessive trio and an octet suffering from Tourette Syndrome (which would burst into unexpected and inappropriate outbreaks) while a percussionist positioned at the stairhead would use hammers, screws and a power drill for his musical “DIY” activities in an allusion to the primary use of the building.
